When I try to get work for my PS3, I get "Not available for your type of computer". Huh?

Oh, FWIW, it is the HD install version of linux, not the USB version. And I am running the same BOINC client that has worked in the past, 5.10.6.

I don't remember seeing this message ever before.

P.S. Should I stick with the old custom 5.x PS3 BOINC client? Or should I upgrade it to the 6.3 version?

5.10.6 is the only version available to run on the PS3.
It is specially modified and complied by the project for PS3 use.

Hi G!

It seems it is not fixed.
I just got the message that full atom molecular dynamics is not available for my computer (on the PS3) and communication is deferred for 24 hours.

Don't know if the numbers on the server status page are right, but as of now it shows only 24 results ready to send, 132 WUs waiting for assimilation, and the assimilator is not running!

I just check my PS3's, and both were deferred for 1 day...

I hit the 'Update' button, and got new werk.


I'm glad it's fixed, but my PS3's did not really need a rest that bad ;)
