Windows Version 915 is now unified for Kepler, Maxwell and Pascal.

No problems expected, bit report anything unusual here..

Wow!
It will be a bit harder than usual to test this app, as the long queue is empty.
I didn't received a workunit on my Win10/GTX1080 host since the release of the 9.15 application.

Thank you - 915 Maxwell long queue WU started crunching with no issues.

A bunch of mixed Pascal / Maxwell and/or Kelper hosts appreciate new unified workability.

I purchased a (443Usd) GTX 1080 to add my existing Win8.1 GTX 1070 - GTX 1060 (3GB) / (2) GTX 970 / GT 630 host.
Soon add a GTX 1050ti (below MSRP GTX 1080ti also possible)
Until 2018 Volta....
Maybe by then PCIe 4.0 CPUs and GPUs release.

Here is the most important question for those of us who are using non-Pascal video cards, is version 915 along with the latest nvidia driver faster and less prone to errors then version 8.48 and driver 359.6?

The next question is, how long will this project support cuda 6.5?

Version 9.15 observations on my host (no CPU WU):

-- GTX 1070 (PCIe3 x8 @ 2050MHz) GERARD_PLAYMOL_5ZZIXKWY WUs ~10* faster than a (PCIe2 x1 384 kelper core) GT 630 @ 1.1GHz.

-- GTX 1060 3GB (PCIe3 x4 @ 2050GHz) PABLO_contact_goal_KIX_CMYB WU ~20% faster than a GTX 970 (PCIe3 x4 @ 1.5GHz)

-- GTX 970 (PCIe2 x1 @ 1.5GHz) PABLO_P04637_1_IDP WU are 55% a GTX 1060 performance.

-- GTX 970 (PCIe2 x1) have 50-70% the performance of a (PCIe3 x4) GTX 970 depending on type of WU.

-- 9.15 faster than CUDA6.5 (PCIe2 x1) former 36-40% performance of PCIe3 x4.

-- 40% Total 4c/4t Haswell CPU usage with 5 GPU all computing 9.15 app.
The faster a GPU - the higher CPU usage is. (no SWAN_SYNC)

Same here - still no longer work unit so far

EDIT: actually, ran out for ANY work unit. Nothing is coming through anymore.

Seems like v9.18 is running 10-20% slower than v8.48 on my GPUs. To add insult to injury the new app is also pushing many WUs over the 24 hour credit limit and thus missing the 50% bonus. Can this be fixed or can we get an option to go back to v8.48?

Same is definitely true for my two GTX750ti's and my GTX970 :-(
As far as I can judge at this point, I would guess even more than 10-20% slower.

So, the new software is not really an improvement, rather the contrary.

Looks like this is the official deprecation announcement of the Fermi video cards that I missed. Gives me an excuse to get the new 1070 now!

Reduce your work buffer to 0

My windows 10 computer is running the WUs about 10 to 15% slower since the upgrade to driver 381.65.

I believe the slow down is caused more by the driver than the new app.

That's called progress!!!
