Hello,

I have 2 gpu nvidia 1070ti that work well with gpugrid (98% of use each).
i have just added a third identical gpu and the average usage of the three gpu has dropped between 60% and 80%, changing continuously.

the CPU is an intel G4400 3.3GHz (2 core at 100% non stop)

is there a limit in the number of gpu for gpugrid?
does the the power of the CPU is important ?

thank you

There is no GPU limit. Generally, it is recommended to provide 1x CPU core for each GPU.

Actually there IS a physical BOINC limit of 64 gpus max.

I would recommend putting the 3rd card in another PC if you can. I would say minimum of one core per GPU

well, thanks for the advice.

I see that the rule "one core per GPU" looks correct.

Thats the case if you're spinning. If not, 2 cores can handle several more GPUs. The card is easily fast enough to run 2x at once to achieve 95% util at 5-20% CPU per task.
