It's not my fault when a GPUGRD program crashes. I didn't write the code. My CPU time was still used!

It's not my fault when a GPUGRD program crashes. I didn't write the code. My CPU time was still used! A bit more detail may help us diagnose why it crashed. Lots of us run the program without it crashing, maybe we can help you figure out why yours is. What other programs are you running at the same time? Is this a machine used ONLY for crunching or do you use it for normal use too? Do you game on the machine? If so do you stop/suspend Boinc when you are gaming? What kind of gpu do you have? What version of the drivers are you using? What operating system do you have? Do you have the latest updates? Are you overclocking anything? Are you underclocking anything? There are soooo many variables that without more details we can't help you.

It's not my fault when a GPUGRD program crashes. I didn't write the code. My CPU time was still used! Because the result is useless. You are using the nvidia driver version 296.10, which has this monitor sleep bug. Either you have to disable the sleep timeout of the monitor (and turn your monitor off manually), or roll back to driver version 285.62.

A GTS 250 (CC1.1) is not a recommended card for crunching at GPUGrid. Even with an ideal setup, many tasks would probably fail.
