Instructions to participate
Hard disk install

- Check your GPU compatibility (by skgiven).
- Download and install the required GPU drivers
- Download and install the latest stable BOINC client [Download]
- Run BOINC and follow the steps to create a new account.
- When prompted, enter http://www.gpugrid.net and you are ready to crunch.
GPUGRID on a USB stick
- No software installation is required
If you want maximum performance and reliability without the burdens of messing around configuring your PC, "GPUGRID on a stick" is the option for you.

Configuring your participation
- Check best BOINC configurations for GPUGRID (by skgiven).
- GPUGRID has two types of apps: ACEMD Standard (shorter runs) suitable to all cards and ACEMD Long (longer runs) only suitable to recommended cards. Edit your preferences here.
System requirements
Contributed by skgiven.
GPUGRID is an entirely GPU-computing project. A system with at least one GPU is therefore necessary for contributing.
Minimum requirements

- GPU: NVIDIA GTX275 (CC1.3) [check list]
- CPU: 1.6GHz
- RAM: 1GB (2GB for Vista, W7, Ubuntu)
- HDD: 10GB free space, no more than 80% used (very important under windows)
- PCIE 1.0 x16

- RAM: 4GB, 2GB+ free for Boinc
